Textile production follows suit, with collaborations with organizations like Eco Tasar and Khamir Kala Cotton initiative for handloomed fabrics, minimizing electricity usage and supporting traditional weaving techniques. Additionally, denim and twill are sourced from OEKOTEX-certified suppliers, tracking environmental impact. While some products still use conventional fabrics, the brand remains committed to improving sustainability efforts.
About this Product
Made from a handloomed fabric developed and hand-woven in Bangladesh by loomers affiliated with Chicago Fair Trade member Motif Handmade. This weave has different colors in the warp and the weft, which gives it a richer color. Natural variations in the weave and color are normal.
This color is a pale blue/violet, and tends to look different in different lights. For most accurate color, view detail photo. One left-front chest pocket. Sustainable coconut buttons. Available in Boxy fit only.
For longest garment life, wash and dry gently.
Cutting and sewing was done at Tarz, a woman-owned small-batch manufacturer in Dhaka, Bangladesh.
