Santol is fast-growing and can reach heights up to 50-150 ft tall. The exotic mangosteen-esque fruit is delicious with a sweet and acidic flavor. The inner pulp is white and fluffy like a cloud and typically consumed raw. The fruit can also be used to make jams and preserves. In Florida the fruit ripens in August and September.
