More than just a name, the Justice Blend brings together two remarkable coffees: one from the Cencoic cooperative In Colombia, and the other, a Brazil Peaberry produced by Black Brazilian farmers.
The Cencoic Co-op is a beacon of transformation for the Nasa people, an indigenous group who have rejected harmful economic activities in favor of sustainable coffee farming. The Nasa are not only skilled coffer growers but also passionate guardians of their environment, deeply believing in their role as stewards of the land they call home.
In Brazil, systemic inequality has left many Black families—descendants of enslaved people—with limited access to wealth and opportunities. However, through partnerships with the Black Producer’s Program by BD Imports, these farmers are being fairly compensated for their exceptional coffee. This initiative provides them with a path to greater financial stability and the possibility of creating brighter futures for their families and communities.
