As a queer, woman of color-owned and led business, Diaspora Co. isn’t just about amazing heirloom spices — it’s about building something by and for their community. This blend is developed in collaboration with critically acclaimed culinary and cultural storyteller, Nadir Nahdi. Inspired by his Yemeni and Pakistani heritage, the blend gets its savory depth and spice from Jodhana Cumin, Peni Miris Cinnamon, and Kandyan Cloves. Hawaij Masala is versatile, warming and can be used to cook signature dishes from lamb zorbiyan and chicken mandi to vegetable stew!
