Q1: What is a Vendor Member?
A Vendor Member is a business that provides goods through Anthroevolve’s e-commerce platform and becomes a part-owner of the Cooperative with voting rights and profit-sharing benefits.
Q2: How do I become a Vendor Member?
You must be approved by the Cooperative’s Board, purchase one share of Class C voting stock (currently $1,000), and sign the Membership Agreement.
Q3: What are my financial commitments?
Besides purchasing the stock, you may need to pay annual dues or fees as set by the Board. These fees support the Cooperative’s operations and member services.
Q4: What benefits do I get as a Vendor Member?
You gain ownership in the Cooperative, voting rights, profit-sharing, access to cooperative resources, and a community focused on ethical and sustainable business.
Q5: Do I have to continue providing goods?
Yes, you commit to continuing to provide goods through the Cooperative’s platform, similar to your prior arrangement.
Q6: What if I want to leave the Cooperative?
Your membership can be terminated voluntarily or for cause, following the terms in the Bylaws. Your stock and any financial interests will be handled per Cooperative policies.
Q7: Who manages the Cooperative?
The Board of Directors governs the Cooperative, managing operations and member policies in accordance with the Bylaws.
